The Project

“Heroes of 71” is a third-person shooter game designed to portray the battle between the war heroes of Bangladesh and the enemy occupational force during the 1971 Liberation War. Players initially control one fighter, eventually unlocking three protagonists with different static strategic positions and weapons. The game involves defending against subsequent waves of enemy troops.

As a new intellectual property (IP), a key challenge was to generate audience interest and emotionally connect with a very localized target group. This required a strong narrative, compelling storytelling, and a highly specific social media marketing campaign, along with an impactful game trailer.
